Data Deletion Instructions

Effective date: September 19, 2026

You can delete your whole Kolabl account, or remove one connected platform and everything we synced from it. This page explains each way, exactly what happens, and when.

Option 1 — Delete your Kolabl account

  1. Sign in at app.kolabl.com
  2. Open Settings
  3. Scroll to Danger zone and click Delete
  4. Type DELETE and click Permanently delete

Straight away:

  • Every connected platform is disconnected: its access token and all the data we synced from it (profile, posts, metrics, audience demographics, story insights, comments) are deleted, and our access is revoked at Google (YouTube) and TikTok.
  • You are signed out everywhere, and your media kit and any public listing go offline.

After 30 days: the rest of your account (profile, kit settings and preferences) is permanently erased. Until then you can cancel by signing back in; your platforms stay disconnected, so you would reconnect them yourself.

Option 2 — Remove one platform only

To keep your Kolabl account but remove Instagram or YouTube:

  1. Sign in at app.kolabl.com
  2. Open Settings → Connected accounts
  3. Click Disconnect next to the account, then Disconnect & delete

We immediately delete that account's access token and everything we synced from it, and revoke our access at Google for YouTube.

You can also remove Kolabl from the platform's side:

  • Instagram: Settings and privacy → Apps and websites → find “Kolabl” → Remove (or open it on the web). Instagram then notifies us, and we delete your Instagram token and cached Instagram data straight away.
  • YouTube / Google: remove Kolabl in your Google Account security settings, then disconnect YouTube in Kolabl (as above) to delete the data we already synced.

Option 3 — Ask us by email

  • Email privacy@kolabl.com from the address on your account
  • Subject: Data Deletion Request
  • Say what to delete: your whole account, one platform's data, or specific details
  • Brands without a Kolabl login can use this route too

We confirm receipt within 2 business days and carry out the deletion as described above, within 30 days of your request.

What may be kept

  • Deal records the other party relies on as evidence — an accepted scope of work, its timeline, any dispute and the inquiry thread — are kept after your account is erased, because they belong to the agreement with the brand, not only to you.
  • Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you (for example, typical engagement in a niche).
  • Backups, which roll off within 30 days.

For Meta App reviewers

This page is the data-deletion instructions URL for the Kolabl Instagram app.

  • Data Deletion Callback URL (Meta App Dashboard): https://app.kolabl.com/api/v1/legal/data-deletion-callback
  • Callback behaviour: verifies the signed_request signature (HMAC-SHA256 with the app secret); finds every Kolabl account that connected that Instagram user; deletes the Instagram access token and all cached Instagram data for it immediately; and returns {"url": "...", "confirmation_code": "..."}. The request is recorded as completed only once the data is gone; if a step fails it stays pending and is retried daily until it completes.
